Phil Sim, CEO and Founder
Phil Sim is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of MediaConnect Australia and MediaConnect Worldwide.
Since founding MediaConnect in 2000, Phil has built the business from nothing to be one of Australia's most innovative and successful converged media/technology companies. A leading authority on new media and Web 2.0 style technologies, Phil is a respected business leader, public speaker and industry commentator.
He has been quoted in such publications as The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and BRW and spoken at events run by such organisations as the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AMIA) and the Future Exploration Network.

Phil's expertise lies at the cross section of media, corporate communications and technology and, in particular, how new business models are evolving across those industries. His Web 2.0 blog Squash was, at one time, one of the top 5 Wordpress.com blogs and has been referenced by such titles as The Financial Times, Infoworld and The Guardian.
Prior to founding MediaConnect, Phil was Director, Online Portals at IDG Communications - the world's largest technology publishing company. Prior to that, he started his career as a journalist, where he was a reporter and then news editor of Computerworld Australia, editor of Network World before being appointed Editor-in-chief of the ARN family of products. During this time he was twice a semi-finalist in the Young Australian of the Year awards, nominated for career achievement, as well as being a dual winner of the IT Writer's Awards.
Phil is father to three boys, lives in the North-Western suburbs of Sydney with wife Donna and is a tragic supporter of the Parramatta Eels Rugby League club.

Donna Sim, General Manager and Director
Donna Sim is general manager for MediaConnect Australia. Donna has been a director of MediaConnect since its launch in 2000.
Prior to joining MediaConnect, Donna was a teacher.
She joined the MediaConnect team in 2006 and is responsible for general administration, accounts, human resources and events.

Patricia Istiphan, Community Manager
Patricia joined the MediaConnect team in 2008 following her completion of a BA (Media and Communications) at the University of New South Wales. She is responsible for Account Management and Renewals; Client communications and marketing; online support and training and client database administration and Website maintenance.

Craig Jackson, Media Monitoring Co-ordinator
Craig Jackson is Media Intelligence Co-ordinator for MediaConnect Australia.
He joined the MediaConnect team in 2006 and is responsible for co ordinating the media intelligence operation.

Tiffany Blatchford, Database Manager & Researcher
Tiffany joined the MediaConnect team in February 2008, following her move to Sydney from the North Coast of NSW.
Tiffany worked on a part time basis for the Clarence Regional Library Service, where she specialised in reader assistance, research and information systems management, while studying for her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Cultural Studies at the Lismore campus of Southern Cross University. During her degree, Tiffany has also studied Australian history, literature and the environment, and contributed news stories to Grafton's Daily Examiner newspaper.
Prior to her role at the library, Tiffany worked in administration for both the public and private sectors, including the Royal Australian Historical Society in Macquarie Street, Sydney and the Bayside Plaza Shopping Centre, Novotel Resort, Brighton Le Sands, where she carried out event management and promotions.
At MediaConnect, Tiffany is responsible for covering the PR beat, and maintaining the features database.
