MediaConnect's Influence Forum is held in September each year in the NSW Hunter Valley wine country.

The event is unique because it brings together, not only more than 50 of Australia's top technology journalists but also a diverse group of non-media influencers like bloggers and other new media influencers, high-profile users and channel executives, industry group representatives and speakers and authors.

The dynamics of the event, are based on the "unconference" format, which encourages open discussion and debate, thereby delivering the greatest potential for effecting true opinion shaping and maximising mindshare.

The event helps technology companies to raise awareness of issues they believe should be important to the Australia and New Zealand influencer community and position themselves as authoratitive leaders and spokespeople on these key issues.
