MediaConnect's Kickstart Forum is our flagship media-only Forum, bringing together more than 60 journalists to hear and learn from some of Australia's leading technology vendors and companies.

This event has a firm focus on education and networking, with the goal being to help technology companies to build effective media relations by educating the media on their upcoming strategies and plans and also getting to know journalists in an informal and relaxed environment.

Unique to the Kickstart Forum is the small-ground round table discussions, which operate akin to speed-dating sessions. This format ensures that companies presenting at the event, get the opportunity to meet and speak to a very large number of journalists, providing either a great start for a positive media relationship or strengthening existing relationships.

The event is relied upon by a large section of the technology media as a way to build new contacts and improve journalist's knowledge on key issues for the forthcoming year. It is highly effective in helping to seed story ideas and build relationships via the extensive networking opportunities built into the event.

The next event will be held in February or March, 2009. For more information please contact Tamara Jawad on +61 2 9894 6277 or email info@mediaconnect.com.au.
