Lizzies finalists announced!

MediaConnect is proud to present the finalists in the individual categories for the Sun Microsystems IT Journalism Awards for 2008. The winner will be announced on Thursday April 9 at the Awards ceremony held at Star City Casino.

More than two hundred entries were received for the 7th Annual Awards, which will recognise excellence in technology media and journalism for the year of 2008, so all finalists can proud of making this stage of the competition.

Please note, finalists will not be announced for the publication or news awards.

All journalists and publications that entered the awards will receive a ticket to this year's events. Additional tickets can be bought for $200 each (ex GST) at http://www.thelizzies.com/tickets. Judges will also receive a complementary ticket to thank them for the time they devoted to judging.
